Margaritaville Resort in Gatlinburg is currently searching for a motivated and talented Food & Beverage Manager to join our award winning team.
Located in the center of Gatlinburg, the gateway to Smoky Mountain National Park, this resort has 163 rooms and suites, Spa, Margaritaville inspired License To Chill Bar & Grill and Joe Merchants coffee shop, 4,000 square feet of meeting space and additional scenic outdoor event space.

Summary:
Responsible for managing all Food and Beverage Operations within the hotel.
Must be able to forecast, plan and manage all food and beverage ordering and staffing according to occupancy levels.
Goal will be to maximize sales and revenue through customer satisfaction and employee engagement.
Directly responsible for the oversight of all kitchen, banquet and food outlet functions.
Have the ability to be a confident, effective and efficient leader who is able to motivate and work collaboratively with food and beverage staff.
Responsible for meeting food and labor cost targets in all areas.
Create and maintain quality control, manage purchasing and inventory and ensure guest satisfaction.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome all guests and employees in a pleasant and professional manner.
Responsible for ordering and maintaining inventory levels in accordance with occupancy levels.
Screen and interview food and beverage staff.
Ensure that all menu items consistently meet Margaritaville brand specifications including recipe, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
Perform monthly inventory and cost reports.
Place orders according to occupancy levels and upcoming group menus minimizing waste.
Maintain cleanliness of all food and beverage areas and equipment exceeding health department standards.
Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following preventative maintenance programs.
Participate in MOD schedule.
Provide ongoing training to all employees.
This can include but not limited to, pour tests, drink quizzes, quality control of food quality and presentation.
Monitor ABC licensing of all bartenders and wait staff.
Assist staff as needed and fill shifts if necessary.
Attend weekly manager meeting and ensure communication flow-through of all pertinent information.
Responsible to uphold the standard operating procedures as set by Margaritaville Corporate to maintain consistency and brand management.
Qualifications and Requirements Professional appearance with strong written and verbal communication skills required with an understanding and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
Must be willing to work nights, holidays and weekends.
Hours vary according to occupancy and events.
Five or more years of hospitality food and beverage experience preferred, TN Server Permit required.
